Congratulations to the Directors and all concerned with the Myrtle Farm development in Blendworth, East Hampshire. The site has been nominated as one of three national finalists in the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) The Bricks awards 2014, in the ‘Development of the Year 2-10 Units’ category.

Barn at Myrtle Farm Blendworth renovated with steelwork by BS SteelsBS Steels assisted with a variety of work to facilitate the conversion of the dairy building and barns to create beautiful character homes. This included strengthening, truss work, creation of openings, and mezzanine floors.

In LABC’s words, The Bricks awards “celebrate sites that achieve excellence in construction, built to the highest quality and standards possible. The Bricks positions Developers at the top of the ladder in the construction industry”. It also stresses the smooth running and coordination of the site throughout the project.

Our Building Refurbishment page explains how BS Steels’s solutions-led and partnership approach is ideally suited to the complexities of refurbishing existing and sometimes older buildings. We are delighted to have played our part in this successful development. If you would like to know how we can help with your project, please contact Roger Slade.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London later this month. Good luck to all concerned!
